Overview

We are currently looking for a new Account Executive for our K12 Language Midwest team! This person will be focused on achieving assigned sales goals for Rosetta Stone products, managing their assigned territory to meet new revenue goals, drafting plans for new account development, along with discovering and working to close new sales opportunities.

Ideal candidate will reside within close proximity to an airport in Midwestern United States, Chicago IL or similar.

This position requires a demonstrated ability to:

  • Deliver exceptional product and corporate presentations to groups and individuals
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and uncover client needs and propose solutions
  • Use a variety of sales tracking tools properly and effectively for planning and forecasting
  • Produce sales results based on defined needs of both customer and management
  • Develop account relationships and collaborate with management on strategies to achieve new revenue goals

Responsibilities

  • Manage geographic territory to achieve all sales goals, particularly new sales goals
  • Work with a partner to manage renewal clients and achieve sales goals
  • Collect and report market information and trends to management
  • Perform multiple tasks at a high level with some training and supervision
  • Understand and be able at communicating how Rosetta Stone products and technological architecture deliver on customer requirements to produce compelling value propositions
  • Accurately maintain and use a sales force automation application to manage sales activities and all data specific to your territory
  • Be able to input new orders into billing and implementation systems with an acceptable level of accuracy
  • Activity Levels:Minimum of 12-16 sales calls per week, and onsite meetings as required
  • Good telephone skills with up to 15 phone calls per day
  • Effective phone use to develop and qualify leads, schedule appointments, and close sales
  • Represent Rosetta Stone at trade shows and tech fairs as needed
  • Perform sales presentations
  • Manage administrative tasks
  • Maintain account records consistent with Rosetta Stone sales department policy
  • Prepare weekly sales forecasts and make recommendations to move accounts to a close
  • Prepare sales call reports, monthly travel schedules, and bi-weekly progress reports
  • Produce proposals to develop and close sales
  • Provide market feed-back, competitive information, product development input, etc., to Rosetta Stone management
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years direct sales, field territory experience as an Account Executive or similar role
  • Experience successfully selling software products, SaaS, or learning content products highly preferred
  • Consistent track record of plan attainment
  • History of in-person, on-site selling skills also desired
  • Experience working with large organizations
  • Good communication and time management skills
  • Proven and continued success in selling and closing customers, creating value, and managing a pipeline
  • Demonstrated ability to close new business opportunities and meet new revenue targets on an on-going basis
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, SalesForce and other CRM tools
  • Ability to overnight travel 50%+
