Job Summary

Harvard Kennedy School is looking for a creative, solutions-oriented team player to fill the role of Learner Engagement Manager. Reporting to the Senior Director of Educational Technology / Director of Public Leadership Credential (PLC), the successful candidate will be part of a strategic project team in the Academic Deans’ office to develop and deliver a series of online courses for mid-career professionals. This position is a fully benefits-eligible term appointment for one year from the date of hire.

Job-Specific Responsibilities

Develop learner engagement strategy and execute tactics in support of that strategy
Contribute to continuous improvement of courses by analyzing learning data and learner feedback and by designing and leading focus groups with learners
Design and facilitate online community to foster learner engagement / retention across courses
Extract data from Salesforce for forecasting and reporting
Draft policies related to learner experience
Frame requirements for learner life-cycle technologies
Other duties as required

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of three years related professional experience

Additional Qualifications

Experience extracting data from Salesforce (or similar CRM), data analysis, data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau), LMS (ideally Canvas), Zoom
Agile / entrepreneurial mindset, team-oriented, comfortable working in a start-up environment
Experience working in a college / university setting, ideally in enrollment services, student services, online programming, non-traditional learning environments, with international constituents
Experience as an online learner is a plus
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication, and project management skills
